Sometimes a home just needs a full reset on the exterior. Not a patch here and a repair there - a proper, top-to-bottom refresh that actually protects the home and makes it look sharp at the same time. That's exactly what we tackled on this classic ranch-style home.
We started by stripping off the old roofing system down to the deck. No layering over worn shingles. When we do a roof replacement, we want a clean slate so the new system goes down right and performs the way it should for years to come. The new shingle roof came out with clean, even lines across the entire roofline.
The gutters and downspouts got a full update too. That's a detail a lot of people overlook when they're focused on the roof, but it matters. A new roof paired with old, failing gutters is just asking for water problems along the foundation and fascia. We handled it all in one shot so the drainage system actually works with the new roof - not against it.
The chimney area was finished with white lap siding, which pulled everything together nicely against the home's existing white exterior. It's one of those details that could've been ignored, but getting it right is the difference between a roof job that looks complete and one that looks unfinished.
End result is a home that's better protected and just looks solid. Clean lines, updated materials, and everything working together the way it should.
